Finally the merger of India's two biggest telcos has been completed. And as per report both the brands wil operate independently post merger. 

 The new website has been launched which is https://www.vodafoneidea.com/

 Interestingly the main website has no information about products and services and for this the page is requesting to visit respective websites of Vodafone & Idea.

 Now let us see how the consumer perceives the merger Like CUG plans can a customer make a CUG group with both Idea & Vodafone connection. If yes where he need to visit for the plans is it Idea or Vodafone ?
If its not allowed can one complain at DoT regarding this ?
a lot of clarity is awaited for the customers.

Jio has overtaken Vodafone India to become the second largest operator by revenue.

The newest operator in India Reliance Jio has overtaken Vodafone India to become the second largest operator  by revenue in the Indian telecom market. Last quarter it goes past Idea it become the third largest operator by revenue and within three months it has dislodged the number two operator. So the new ranking as per revenue is as under Airtel Jio Vodafone Idea BSNL It is assumed that the merger of Idea and vodafone will be completed soon. And the new entity Vodafone Idea will be the largest operator by revenue followed by Airtel and Jio. The telecom sector is full of surprises let us see what happens next. ?
