BSNL 20 Mbps Broadband Plan 299 & 491 that is selling like HotCakes.

BSNL has launched two broadband plans which are selling like hotcakes. these plan are Plan 299 and 491.

In Plan 299 One can get speed of 20 Mbps till FUP limit of 50 GB data and after 50 GB data are finished the speed falls back to 1 Mbps. BSNL is also offering unlimited calling to local and STD numbers of India.

On the other hand plan 491 is aimed at users with higher data requirement. In this pland a customer will get speed of 20 Mbps and FUP limit is 120 GB. After 120 GB data is consumed speed reduces to 1 Mbps.

The offer is valid till 25 March 2020. With these attractive broadband plans BSNL will give a tough fight to Reliance Jio and Airtel Xtreme and cable service providers.

The data benefits are a period of 6 Months after the date of booking. After 6 months the customers of Plan 299 will be migrated to plan 399 where they will get a speed of 8 Mbps with 2GB data per day. and after 2 GB is finished the speed will be 1 Mbps unlimited.

similarly 491 plan customer after 6 months will be migrated to plan 499 plan where they will get a speed of 8 Mbps with 3 GB data per day. and after 3 GB is finished the speed will be 1 Mbps unlimited.

Jio has overtaken Vodafone India to become the second largest operator by revenue.

The newest operator in India Reliance Jio has overtaken Vodafone India to become the second largest operator  by revenue in the Indian telecom market. Last quarter it goes past Idea it become the third largest operator by revenue and within three months it has dislodged the number two operator. So the new ranking as per revenue is as under Airtel Jio Vodafone Idea BSNL It is assumed that the merger of Idea and vodafone will be completed soon.
