MTNL PROPERTY Auction AT Oshiwara, MUMBAI.

In order to bring back BSNL & MTNL to profit, Government of India has taken a few steps. One of the steps was monetization of non core assets. In that step both MTNL & BSNL has been working for last 2 years. In the first round of success total 6 properties of MTNL & BSNL has been earmarked for sale.




In this blog we will focus on MTNLs Oshiwara Flats Near Versova, Andheri West.

We will try to give as much information as possible so that you could decide whether to bid for the flats or not and what is the procedure to bid for the MTNLs Oshiwara Flats in the upcoming auction on 14 December 2021.

There are total 20 flats available for auction. The sizes and details are as follows
So there are 2 flats are which are One room and kitchen ( Flat number 106 and 801 at Raheja Classique)

There are 17 Flats of 1 Bed, Hall Kitchen (BHK) in Raheja Classique, Oshiwara for Auction

And Only One 2 BHK flat for auction ( Flat Number 802 )

The Base prices for these flats are very competitive as compared to the prevalent market rate in the area and the bid prices are expected to increase by 50% or more for those flats. The Proximity to civic amenities like railway station, metro malls etc are a big factor and the posh location of Oshiwara are the big reason.

How to participate in the Auction for MTNL's Oshiwara Flats. - Being a PSU MTNL has a transparent process. DIPAM through MSTC portal is conducting the auction. If any individual or entity wants to bid for the property they need to register in mstc portal 

10% of the starting price for these properties, is the pre bid EMD which needs to be paid to MSTC limited. So if you want to bid for a 1 BHK in MTNLs Raheja Classique at Oshiwara you need to deposit Rs. 10.40 lakhs as a pre bid EMD. This is refundable in case you are not successful in the bidding.

MTNL Broadband to MTNL FTTH Migration.

MTNL Mumbai unit has launched a new scheme under which MTNL broadband (triband) customer can migrate to MTNL FTTH connection. Why ? MTNL broadband/triband offers speed of 6 Mbps/ 8 Mbps etc. with the increasing number of devices the speed is not being adequate so in a need for speed FTTH seems a better alternative.
