MTNL Mumbai unit has launched a new scheme under which MTNL broadband (triband) customer can migrate to MTNL FTTH connection. Why ? Teledensity indicators of various services in India April – June, 2018 Indian decreasing Teledensity  1. The number of telephone subscribers in India declined from 1,206.22 million at the end of Mar-18 to 1,168.89 million at the end of Jun-18, registering a decline rate of 3.09% over the previous quarter.
