Reliance has branded its home broadband or wired broadband as JIO Giga Fibre.

How to take Jio Giga Fibre connection ?

Jio Giga Fibre is available in more than 1100 towns across India. Whose beta testing is being done at thousands of home across India. But the service is not launched commercially yet. One can shown interest for Jio Giga Fibre from 15th August 2018 onwards shere users can shown his interest in my jio app or jio.com. depending upon response from locality jio will install fibre and ont and olt actoos homes and will give the service.

Whats the price or tariff of Jio Giga Fibre ?

It has not been disclosed yet. But it will be competitive like any other competition. As of now the cheapest plan is of BSNL is 491 which is the most economical plan in India which offers a speed of 20 Mbps and data of 20 GB per day for a month. Let us hope that jio plan will be better than that.

What other service are free with Jio Giga Fibre ?

1. Broadband connection with speed of 100 Mbps upto 1 Gbps.

2. JIO TV with free channels given through GIGA TV set top box ( ultra hd entertainment)

MTNL Broadband to MTNL FTTH Migration.

MTNL Mumbai unit has launched a new scheme under which MTNL broadband (triband) customer can migrate to MTNL FTTH connection. Why ? MTNL broadband/triband offers speed of 6 Mbps/ 8 Mbps etc. with the increasing number of devices the speed is not being adequate so in a need for speed FTTH seems a better alternative. Because MTNL FTTH offers good speed. Plan are starting from 50 Mbps besides there are 100 Mbps plans. also free calls are in the plans. First Rule The customer building must be fibre enabled by MTNL. that means if the place/building where the customer resides is FTTH ready. ( in case the building is not fibre ready that customer can contact nearest MTNL office with request if there is bulk customer or some good number customer than MTNL will enable the building with fibre service soon) Point 2- The number will change from your existing number e.g If you have a number 282XXXXX. New Director of Finance appointed in MTNL

Mr. Milind Vijay Joshi has been appointed as the Director Finance in Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited. Mr. Milind Joshi was the Regional Director in Southern Region of Air India Limited. The interview for the above post was held on 15.06.2018 where total 3 applicants applied for the said post. the other applicants beside Mr. Joshi were Mr. Anirudh Prasad Singh, GM Finance MTNL & Mr. Ghanashyam Prasad Verma, Sr. GM BSNL. BSNL Modem Revised charges.

Good news for BSNL broadband/VDSL customers. BSNL has revised the charges of its modem for its broadband and VDSL customers. Now a customer has the option to take modem from BSNL is two ways. 1.Modem Purchase. 2. Rental method. If you want a modem only to connect with your PC or laptop you can go for ADSL Basic Modem. It will cost you Rs. 1400 to purchase and if you want to rent it, it will cost Rs. 70 per month If you want a wifi modem it will cost you Rs. 1250 , if you want the same modem through rent you have to pay Rs. 110 per month Similarly VDSL wifi modem will cost you Rs. 325- the rental of which is Rs. 150. But do keep it mind that if you want the modem through rental method you have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 500. Which is refundable when you close the connection.
