BSNL Modem Revised charges.

Good news for BSNL broadband/VDSL customers. BSNL has revised the charges of its modem for its broadband and VDSL customers.

Now a customer has the option to take modem from BSNL is two ways.

1.Modem Purchase.

2. Rental method.

If you want a modem only to connect with your PC or laptop you can go for ADSL Basic Modem. It will cost you Rs. 1400 to purchase and if you want to rent it, it will cost Rs. 70 per month

If you want a wifi modem it will cost you Rs. 1250 , if you want the same modem through rent you have to pay Rs. 110 per month

Similarly VDSL wifi modem will cost you Rs. 325- the rental of which is Rs. 150.

But do keep it mind that if you want the modem through rental method you have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 500. Which is refundable when you close the connection.

The main attraction is these modems are coming with a warranty of 5 years. So if you face any problem with related to the modem it will be resolved by BSNL without any charges.

BSNL 20 Mbps Broadband Plan 299 & 491 that is selling like HotCakes.

BSNL has launched two broadband plans which are selling like hotcakes. these plan are Plan 299 and 491. In Plan 299 One can get speed of 20 Mbps till FUP limit of 50 GB data and after 50 GB data are finished the speed falls back to 1 Mbps. BSNL is also offering unlimited calling to local and STD numbers of India. On the other hand plan 491 is aimed at users with higher data requirement. In this pland a customer will get speed of 20 Mbps and FUP limit is 120 GB. After 120 GB data is consumed speed reduces to 1 Mbps. The offer is valid till 25 March 2020. MTNL Broadband to MTNL FTTH Migration.

MTNL Mumbai unit has launched a new scheme under which MTNL broadband (triband) customer can migrate to MTNL FTTH connection. Why ? MTNL broadband/triband offers speed of 6 Mbps/ 8 Mbps etc. with the increasing number of devices the speed is not being adequate so in a need for speed FTTH seems a better alternative. Because MTNL FTTH offers good speed. Plan are starting from 50 Mbps besides there are 100 Mbps plans. also free calls are in the plans. Teledensity indicators of various services in India April – June, 2018 Indian decreasing Teledensity 1. The number of telephone subscribers in India declined from 1,206.22 million at the end of Mar-18 to 1,168.89 million at the end of Jun-18, registering a decline rate of 3.09% over the previous quarter.
